How I work
The most important part of the process is the initial meeting. The enjoyment of creating a portrait comes from getting to know my sitter and capturing what makes them unique. It provides an opportunity to discuss ideas. This will usually take only a couple of hours and is intended to be relaxed and informal – and I hope enjoyable!
I work from my own photographs which I can take at the initial meeting or at a later date if preferred. I do not ask for formal sittings but any opportunity to meet with the sitter is always appreciated.
